Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

Opens:

- Mike: Will there be an IBIS quality presentation at the DesignCon summit?
  - We might not have enough progress to show.
- Bob: Agree, but we could have 2 slides to say we're still working on it.
- Mike: That could be in the chair's presentation, if small enough.

ARs:

- Mike recover percent format specifications in spreadsheet.
  - Almost done, halfway through step 7.

- Mike add comments to CMPNT, DLY, MSPEC sections.
  - No new progress.

- Lance add comments to EBD section.
  - A spreadsheet was sent today.

- Bob add comments to CIRCUIT section.
  - No new progress.


IBISCHK message list comment additions:

- Bob showed a spreadsheet sent by Lance.
- Lance: Message 54 has been explained.
  - There is a similar addition for 73, but that says "Node" where it should be "Pin".
- Mike: Should this be an ibischk BUG?
- Bob: Node is a reserved word in EBD.
- Lance: Actually it is a Node, the comment needs to be fixed.
- Mike: The new comment is a useful addition because the message is not very helpful.

IBISCHK message list cleanup:

- Bob showed a new draft7 spreadsheet from Mike.
- Mike: This is the result of the 7 step procedure we devised in the last meeting.
- Bob: Why are there backslashes?
- Mike: Excel added those to escape quotes within quotes.
  - They will be removed in the final output.
- Bob: This will become our new reference once finished.
  - It can be posted into the ibischk601 directory.
- Mike: It should be sent to Atul before he changes anything else.

Summit presentation:

- Bob showed the IBIS Quality presentation from the last SPI summit.
- Mike: There will be be no ibischk5 documentation, just ibischk6.
  - We should show an example of what the final pages will look like.
  - Only one other slide should be needed.
- Bob: We should have a presentation that we present ourselves.
  - It can be copied from the SPI PowerPoint.
- Bob showed the ibischk5 and ibischk6 web pages.
- Bob: The draft3 spreadsheet is there as well as a wip1 document example.
- Mike: We could update the wip1, but probably shouldn't.
- Bob: Agree.

AR: Mike draft IQ presentation for DesignCon summit

Meeting Schedule:

- We agreed to meet Jan 13 and 20, not 27.
  - Bob might be unavailable Jan 20.
